Aguas Profundas (Deep Waters)
Porcelain.
2014

Fine sheets of porcelain that represent the poetic search in the depths of water. This piece is meant to evoke the scientific appeal of stratigraphy and connect it with personal emotion. It is an attempt to capture the sensation of seeking light amongst turbid dark aspects that we see from the outside. An opening in the center of a river that allows you to see its hidden secrets.

Bookart made in the workshops at Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Perú with a text written by Brihadaranyaka Upanishad.
Unique copy.

“Como un gran pez nada a lo largo de ambas riberas, la más cercana y la más alejada, así viaja una persona por ambos estados, el del sueño y el de vigilia”.

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad, libro IV 3.18
